SRG uses a rapid-prototyping development plan while performing R&D for Government and Commercial clients. SRG was the Primary contractor for two of the Live Fire Test and Training Program's R&D efforts.

VUNERABLITY LETHALITY SIMULATION ENHANCEMENTS (VLSE)
VLSE Objective The primary objective of VLSE is to demonstrate the feasibility
and assess the value of producing more realistic training simulations (in the area of damage assessment) through improved use of LFT data and models.

Technical Effort Includes:
Use data and lessons learned from tank-on-tank degraded states initiatives in DSWARS and CASTFOREM to develop a conceptual degraded states approach to damage assessments.
Generate a degraded states demonstration model and integrate it with one or more virtual training systems used by the Army National Guard for tank gunnery training; and with a constructive simulation (i.e., SAF) to demonstrate and evaluate damage assessment representations via a degraded states approach.

VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT SIMULATION FOR SHIPBOARD INCIDENT MANAGEMENT (VESSIM)
VESSIM Objectives Use ship design software and the NAWCTSD Virtual Environment Technology Test-bed (VETT) to develop a prototype shipboard virtual environment to:

Generate training requirements for 1st responders
Provide support for assessments of vulnerability, survivability, and recoverability
Support Inter/Intra team training & coordination
Produce casualty scenarios with situation assessment, leadership, networking, & decision making

More in-depth information can be found at our VESSIM site.
